I-CAR Live Training
I-CAR Live Training is a series of individual, modularised training programs, which allows students to choose those segments that best fit their training needs. These programs offer in-depth coverage of both conventional and innovative collision repair technologies and processes. Live Training programs feature knowledge-based training and performance-based testing, with an increased emphasis on hands-on exercises.
I-CAR provides a variety of live, instructor-led classes at locations across the country. Classroom training is especially suited for more complex topics that cannot be covered as thoroughly in online programs. These courses typically include instruction in specific techniques in addition to information relative to the topic. Personal interaction with the instructor and other students adds additional value to the experience.
- Instructor-led training combined with state-of-the-art technology.
- Instructional videos, props and videos of classroom demonstrations for later review and reference.
- Increased use of realistic, hands-on exercises.
- Testing which allows students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have learned. Students who successfully complete the training programs and testing earn points valid towards the Gold Class Professionalsā¢ and Platinum Individualā¢ recognition programs.
As collision repair technology advances, I-CAR is committed to meeting the industry’s changing needs. I-CAR conducts extensive collision repair research and using this research, develops and delivers the latest information on new repair technologies and processes. To successfully complete a Live Training program, you will be required to attend class and pass the written post test administered at the end of the program. When taking the post test, you will be allowed to use class notes and the objectives worksheet provided. Students who do not pass the post test will have the opportunity to review the program material and retake post test at no additional cost.
